Teaser Tuesdays is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading. Anyone can play along! Just do the following:
- Grab your current read
- Open to a random page
- Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
- BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
- Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!
My teaser: “Suddenly chilled, she went to the window and unlatched it, letting the casement swing open, curling herself up in a miserable huddle on the cushions of the window seat. If he loved her, how could he do this to her?” (pg. 151, Incarceron by Catherine Fisher)
Oh, sounds so sad. Makes me wonder what happened to her.
My teasers are on the sad side, as well:

Such a powerful teaser! I found this book to be so well written and creative yet I still couldn’t get into it. I’ll be interested to see your thoughts when you are done with it.
